Sweetheart Run to Los Osos – February 17, 2012

Thirteen couples made this trip to Los Osos this year. Friday – lunch at Margies Diner (way too much food). Most stayed at the Back Bay Inn, and a few were at the Baywood Inn across the street. Right on the bay, and surprisingly when the tide is out, it’s really OUT! Saturday we headed up the coast to view the Elephant Seals, with a pitstop at the Hearst Castle Welcome Center. From there, it was on to wine tasting at the Kelsey Winery. We also had a tour of the wine making facility. Dinner Saturday was Italian in downtown Morro Bay. Sunday most of us headed home with a stop for lunch at Eric Ericson’s Restaurant on the Ventura Pier. Weather all weekend was great, as was the food and the company. Everyone had a fantastic time and we all give our sincere thanks and appreciation to Liz and Dale for coordinating, along with a many others who participated.
