This year’s holiday party was the most well-attended yet. Over 90 members donned their finest holiday wear and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A number of folks made it possible, but special thanks to Cathy and Ginny for coordinating the festivities and the evening’s entertainment. The magician was certainly a hit, not only with his magic, but also his quick wit! We’re pleased that Dan survived the guillotine, and most of us are still trying to figure out how the unique dollar bill got inside a real lemon!
The DJ was an excellent choice and not only played the right tunes for our group, but also demonstrated and led us in a number of disco moves, including YMCA. It was good to have Steve Gaines, General Manager of our sponsor – Simi Valley Chevrolet, not only attend, but also show his pretty good moves on the dance floor. Many of us took the opportunity to say hello to Gayle and Ray, and welcome them back. Posada Royale did a fine job of setting up the room and providing the buffet dinner.
