Santa Paula Citrus Festival – July 27, 2013

Four members attended the Santa Paula Citrus Festival car show: Hank & Karen, Steve & Marsha, Jerry & Saralyn, and Fred & Iris. Weather was perfect – and got a bit cool in the evening when the balloons were inflated and lit. It was quite a show! We spent the entire day at the grounds, since food vendors were all around. We won big in the raffle ticket drawings – a total of 5 winners from our group. Hank & Karen won a trophy for their Chevy Nomad – well deserved and it took a lot of elbow grease! Santa Clarita Corvettes had quite a few cars there, as did Roam’n Relics from Moorpark. Most of us stayed in a bed and breakfast in downtown Santa Paula on Saturday night, and came home on Sunday.
