A dozen cars made the trip to Sedona, Az this year. We stayed at the Poco Diablo Resort and had great accomodations. All rooms opened to the 9 hole golf course, where we held the inaugural tournament. Five players attacked the course with one coming out on top. The winner’s name is withheld, to avoid the IRS catching on and expecting the huge payout to be on his tax return. Liz and Dale did a fantastic job of coordinating the run, including getting the hotel, stops along the way, and meals in Sedona. For us southern Californians, it was refreshing to see cloudy skies, and dumping rain at times. Some of us drove the red rock loop – very scenic. Others opted for the pink jeep tour. Most enjoyed the river dinner cruise led by Captain Bob. We preselected our menu items. On the trip to Sedona, we stopped in Laughlin on the way there, and there were a few different schedules for driving home.
