The local car show put on to raise money for the Police Explorers group was a huge success. In excess of 130 vehicles were registered, of which 33 belonged to Simi Valley Corvettes! We met a few blocks away from the show and got a police escort and had a special entrance to park together. Hank & Karen’s Chevy Nomad won one trophy, as did Michael and Betty with their C6 Stingray. Dennis and Paula’s black/silver 1960 was also a prize winner. The 50-50 prize was won by Tom & Chris. Others won raffle prizes. Weather was fantastic, and McDonalds donated 20% of their total day’s sales to the Explorer organization. Thanks to Hank & Karen for the photos.
