We showed up in force again to support the Explorers of the Simi Valley Police Department. The organizers set aside sufficient spaces for our cars – mostly all under the shade of the overhead solar collector roofs. I think we had between 20 and 25 cars for this event. This year, they decided to start later, which created some issues for a number of us. Given the heat, perhaps an early morning start would have been preferable. Each year this event gets better. The raffle prizes were significant, and there were plenty of them. Steve & Marsha happened to win 3 baskets. Bob and Cathy won 1st place for their 2003 red, highly customized, C5. Additionally, Jim H won 2nd place for his Austin Healey. Brent garnered 2nd place for his yellow Z06 C7R. Some photos are here, but more to come.
