The Corvettes in race #2 in the ALMS series for 2013, didn’t fare to well. Both finished well back in the GT pack, but hopefully learned something from the experience, so that they’ll end up in front at Laguna Seca May 11. On Sunday in the World Challenge race, Johnny O was in the lead under yellow caution with just a handful of laps remaining. As it turned out, the race finished under caution, however Johnny’s Cadillac CTSV, had mechanical issues on the last lap and he could not limp around to the finish line. Pilgrim finished third in the other Cadillac. The “drool meter” went through the roof, as we stood and admired the cyber gray C7 with Kalahari interior at the GM exhibit.
