About 17 cars made the run up to Los Osos for what has become an annual event. The weather was tremendous, and the accomodations at the Baywood Inn, perfect. We stopped at Avila Beach for lunch on the way up on Friday. Happy hour got everyone in the mood on Friday evening, and most walked to the Mexican restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Saturday included wine tasting and a picnic lunch at a winery about an hour away. Afterwards, many of us took a scenic drive that ended up at the beach. Folks split up and had dinner in Morro Bay and other spots Saturday night. Kudos to Liz and Dale for coordinating this run, which became a bit more involved due to the road construction around Morro Bay. Most who attended this, went ahead and reserved rooms for next year. We may fill the facility next year due to the popularity of this event. Also on Saturday, we gave Jill’s Dad a thrill, when all the cars drove past his house, wishing him the best.
