We had about 22 cars in two groups, for most of the trip, which was organized by Jerry & Saralyn (no small feat with that number of cars). We were still getting our “feet wet” the first day with three CHIP tickets / warnings. After that – nothing but fun! Kudos to Jerry & Saralyn for all the planning and execution of the run.
Day 1: Leave Simi Valley and drive to Mammoth Lakes
Stop in Mojave, Lone Pine, Bishop (as needed). Dinner in the village
Day 2: Drive to Lake Tahoe
Drive the June Lake Loop; stops at Bridgeport, Mono Lake
Day 3: Spend the day at Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe Corvette Show; Casinos, Dinner Cruise
Day 4: Leave Tahoe and drive to Sonora
Stops in Placerville, Sutter Creek, Jackson, etc.
Day 5: Drive to Oakhurst
Drive the Yosemite Loop and lunch in the village
Day 6: Leave Oakhurst and return to Simi Valley
